This notice sets out what we record when you choose to support a channel through this site, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- A name and a message, both optional. If you provide them they are shown on the public supporter wall, unless you tick “Keep my support anonymous”.
- The email address attached to your PayPal payment, which we keep for our records and to acknowledge what you sent.
- Simple attribution data — a referral click identifier and campaign (UTM) parameters — held in one cookie for up to 30 days, so the right channel is credited for your support.
Payment information
Your payment is handled entirely by PayPal. Your card, your bank details and your PayPal sign-in credentials never reach us and are never stored on our side.
How we use it
To take and acknowledge your voluntary support, to show the supporter wall unless you asked to stay anonymous, to keep our records straight, and to credit your support to the channel that referred you.
Sharing
The data goes to PayPal so the payment can be processed, and into our own internal reconciliation records. We do not sell personal information and we run no third-party advertising trackers.
Your choices
Ticking “Keep my support anonymous” keeps your name off the public wall. If you want to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, write to support@celestialrefuge.com.
